Johnny Marr will follow his previously announced U.K. solo tour with an 18-date North American run in April and May that’s built around his appearances at the two-weekend Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival — and which includes dates with New Order in Las Vegas and Santa Barbara, Calif.

It’s bordering on criminal that the 2010 documentary “Upside Down: The Creation Records Story” still has not been released on DVD and Blu-ray in the U.S., but, for fans not willing to jump through hoops to watch an import Region 2 DVD, the entire film is available on YouTube for your viewing and/or rocking pleasure.

For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind, we’ve rustled up a “120 X Ray” segment on the incomparable Kate Bush that aired as part of the Jan. 21, 1990, show, about three months after the release of her sixth album The Sensual World. The interview is spliced up with some weird, conversational voice-over.

Turns out Peter Murphy is not quite done promoting his 2011 album Ninth: The former Bauhaus frontman this week debuted the third video culled from the record, a live performance clip filmed last June in Buenos Aires for the song “Velocity Bird.” The Gaby Smiths-filmed video can be seen here.

A day after Depeche Mode’s new single “Heaven” leaked all over the web, the band has now premiered the music video for the lead-off track from the upcoming ‘Delta Machine.’ The single, B-side “All That’s Mine” and a number of remixes go on sale digitally via retailers on Friday, with CD singles out Tuesday.

U.K. imprint Cooking Vinyl today announced it has signed Alison Moyet to a worldwide deal with plans to release the former Yazoo singer’s eighth studio album this May, an electronic-based collection that signer describes both as “prog-pop” and “born of reconstructed improvisation.”
