The Chameleons next week will reissue their fourth album — 2001’s post-reunion Why Call It Anything — in an expanded 2CD set paired with a live album, as well as release a brand new compilation called Dreams in Celluloid that will package demos and early studio takes with the rare Tony Fletcher EP.

Gary Numan expands North American tour, will open for Nine Inch Nails in Florida

Synth pioneer Gary Numan has expanded what was to be a very short run of West Coast dates in late summer by adding concerts in the Eastern U.S. this October leading up to a pair of opening slots on Nine Inch Nails’ fall arena tour in October. All told, Numan is now planning 13 North American shows through Oct. 31.

The Cure to play first-ever concert in Hawaii next month ahead of Lollapalooza

The Cure next month will warm up for its pair of early August festival dates in North America — the band is playing both Lollapalooza in Chicago and Osheaga Festival Musique et Arts in Montreal the weekend of Aug. 2-4 — with its first-ever Hawaiian concert, a July 30 headlining date in Honolulu.
