Peter Hook’s current U.S. tour — on which he’s performing New Order’s first two albums each night — may be just about over, but fans at Wednesday night’s show in Seattle got a special treat: electronic music whiz Moby hopped on stage during the encore to sing three Joy Division classics.

Ramones fans who never got around to picking up the band’s key early albums on CD will have an easy way to do that later this month when Rhino Records releases a new box set collecting the band’s first six records, including Ramones, Leave Home, Rocket to Russia and Road to Ruin.

The resurgent Pixies made their second TV appearance in a week last night, this time plugging in on the BBC’s “Later… with Jools Holland” to tear through new song “What Goes Boom” off the band’s just-released EP-1 in advance of tonight’s appearance at the iTunes Festival in London.

We posted some audience video out of the one-off Elvis Costello and The Roots show in Brooklyn last week, but now comes something far better: Pro-shot footage from the Roots-affiliated okayplayer of Costello, ?uestlove and Co. playing a sizzling, 13-minute version of Costello’s Blood & Chocolate classic “I Want You.”
