Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry will treat fans to “an incredible set list of hits, favorites rarities and covering 40 years of career highlights” during a short run of eight dates along the West Coast of the U.S. and Canada this April that have been scheduled around his twin appearances at Coachella.

The Throwing Muses have announced a select number of U.S. dates on both the East and West coasts in late February and early March in support of the band’s new book/album combo Purgatory/Paradise — including a pair of shows that will feature opening sets by Tanya Donelly.

This week’s new releases include Blu-ray reissues of ‘Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols’ and Tears For Fears’ ‘The Hurting’ on Blu-ray, plus a reissue of The Verlaines’ 1987 compilation ‘Juvenilia’ and a five-record box set from Stiff Little Fingers.

Ministry’s Al Jourgensen has decided to check himself into rehabilitation for alcohol issues, his label 13th Planet confirmed tonight, after the legendary industrial-metal frontman let the cat out of the bag himself on Facebook, writing, “Kicked dope and crack by myself… but I need help on this one.”

After several years of bemoaning that no label would have him, Morrissey has signed a “worldwide recording agreement” with Harvest Records, which announced the former Smiths frontman will release a yet-to-be-recorded new album in the second of 2014 and plans to resume tour this year.

Omnivore Recordings next month will reissue seminal college-rock act Camper Van Beethoven’s two major-label albums — 1988’s Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart and 1989’s Key Lime Pie, with its hit cover of Status Quo’s “Pictures of Matchstick Men” — in expanded CD versions and on 180-gram vinyl.
