Tonight’s edition of “Dark Wave” on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave featured music from Fields of the Nephilim, Gary Numan, KMFDM, Danielle Dax, Alien Sex Fiend, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, The Sisters of Mercy, Xmal Deutschland, Love and Rockets, Ministry, Die Krupps and more.

The Replacements reunion continues to be a festival-only affair, with the band following up three Riot Fest dates last year and two upcoming Coachella shows with an appearance this May at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Music Festival, where they’ll share the bill with fellow reunion act Violent Femmes.

Mark Burgess this week announced a spring tour that will find ChameleonsVox — the latest incarnation of post-punk favorites The Chameleons — performing 1983 debut album Script of the Bridge in its entirety at more than a dozen shows in the U.K. and another nine in mainland Europe.

This week’s Slicing Up Eyeballs Music Hour featured music form The Housemartins, Erasure, The Primitives, Joe Jackson, New Order, The Psychedelic Furs, Talking Heads, Depeche Mode, Thomas Dolby, The Pretenders, The Jam, Devo, Midge Ure and more.

The Sisters of Mercy this week announced a 12-date European tour in May ahead of that festival, a run of dates that will bring the goth-rock giants to Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands.

The Pixies’ current U.S. tour took the band through Washington, D.C., recently, which afforded the group a chance to stop by NPR’s offices to perform a stripped-down “Tiny Desk Concert” — footage of which has just been posted by the public-radio giant.

The two-weekend Sasquatch! Music Festival — set for Memorial Day and Fourth of July weekends outside of Seattle — will feature performances by New Order, Kraftwerk, Soundgarden, Bob Mould, Violent Femmes alongside the likes of OutKast, The National, Queens of the Stone Age and many, many more.
