The 1983 debut from The The — Soul Mining, featuring the singles “Uncertain Smile” and “This is the Day” — will receive a 30th anniversary reissue this summer in the former of a deluxe 2LP set that will include the remastered album on one 180-gram vinyl platter and six remixes and B-sides on the other.

In addition to releasing a brand-new studio album this June, Peter Murphy is now taking pre-orders via PledgeMusic for “Mr. Moonlight Tour: 35 Years of Bauhaus,” a DVD release and 10-inch vinyl EP that was filmed/recorded at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles last summer.

Third time’s the charm? One-half of The Smiths reunited on stage Sunday for the third time in less than a year, as bassist Andy Rourke joined Johnny Marr toward the end of his Lollapalooza Brazil set to perform their former band’s classic “How Soon Is Now?”

The 1993 major-label debut from psychedelic experimental rockers Butthole Surfers — Independent Worm Saloon, produced by Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones, and featuring the single “Who Was In My Room Last Night?” — will be reissued this fall on 180-gram vinyl by Plain Recordings.
