The House of Love will follow up last year’s new studio album She Paints Words In Red with a live CD/DVD package that was recorded at the second of two concerts last November at a 200-seat club in London. Live at the Lexington 13.11.13 is due out Nov. 24 on Cherry Red Records.

A long-in-the-works Paul McCartney tribute album finally arrives this November, and the first track to debut from The Art of McCartney is a rather faithful cover of The Beatles’ “Hello Goodbye” performed by The Cure with Sir Paul’s son James McCartney assisting on keyboards.

Turns out those Johnny Marr tour dates that were posted to the ex-Smiths guitarist’s Facebook page prematurely last month weren’t wrong, they were just incomplete. Now, though, Marr has confirmed the full 30-date North American tour late this fall in support of Playland.

Late last month, Siouxsie and the Banshees confirmed the long-overdue reissue of the final four albums in the band’s catalog, and while tracklists were not announced at the time, they’ve now been revealed as the re-releases have appeared on Amazon UK for pre-order ahead of the Oct. 13 street date.

Simple Minds have finished recording their first new studio album in five years — and 17th overall — and while details of the record’s release aren’t yet known, the band had debuted a new song that presumably will appear on the forthcoming LP. You can stream that track, “Blindfolded,” right here.
