Morrissey today not only announced the forthcoming release of a new album — Low in High-School, due out in November — but the ex-Smiths frontman also unveiled plans for a headlining date at the legendary Hollywood Bowl about a week before the album’s release.

Morrissey today announced the release of his first album in three years and 11th overall as a solo artist, a collection titled Low in High-School that will arrive Nov. 17 via his new Etienne Records imprint on the BMG label, according to the Manchester Evening News.

There was much speculation that the reunion of Glen Danzig and Jerry Only for a pair of Misfits performances ended with those appearances at RiotFest in Chicago and Denver. But that’s not the case, as the so-called Original Misfits have announced a Dec. 30 date in Los Angeles.

Another week, another previously unreleased live version of a track off The Smiths’ 1986 classic The Queen is Dead. This week it’s “Never Had No One Ever,” recorded Oct. 21, 1986, at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham during the band’s second leg in support of that album. Stream it here.
