This fall, The The will release The Comeback Special: Live at the Royal Albert Hall, a multiformat live album and Tim Pope-directed concert film documenting Matt Johnson’s reactivation of the band for a 2018 reunion tour, its first in 16 years. Dead Can Dance co-founder Lisa Gerrard will release a new album with Jules Maxwell, who has toured with the band as a keyboard player, this May, and are previewing their first record together with the single “Noyalain (Burn),” which you can hear right here via its music video.

The Psychedelic Furs today premiered a new music video — for the song “Wrong Train” — off the band’s first new album in 29 years, which came out last summer following a delay brought on by the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic. You can watch the new clip right here.

To mark the 40th anniversary of The Clash’s triple LP Sandinista!, filmmaker Don Letts put together a new music video for “The Magnificent Seven,” a clip based on the band’s performance of the song on “The Tomorrow Show” with Tom Snyder and previously unseen footage of the group.

New Order has announced its first hometown concert in four years, a large outdoor gig with Hot Chip and Working Men’s Club at Manchester’s Heaton Park in September that will precede the group’s rescheduled U.S. tour with the Pet Shop Boys later that month. Full details right here.
