With The Cure rumored to be preparing Trilogy/Reflections-like concerts featuring performances of The Top alongside The Head on the Door and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, we devote this week’s Vintage Video to a long-lost relic of the Top era: the band’s 90-minute “Live in Japan” concert film.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will release their fourth official live album next month in the form of Live From KCRW, a set recorded this past April in a studio for the Los Angeles radio station that will be released on CD and double vinyl at independent retailers on Record Store Day’s upcoming Black Friday event.

The Cure returned for its second headlining slot at this year’s two-weekend Austin City Limits Music Festival, and this time shook up its standard festival set to inject some of the rarities that Robert Smith and Co. dredged up for shows this past week in Moterrey, Mexico, and El Paso, Texas.
