David Gedge and the rest of The Wedding Present stopped by the Seattle studios of KEXP in April during the band’s spring U.S. tour in support of their latest album Going, Going…,  and performed a six-song, half-hour set that the radio station has now shared online. More than a year ago, word emerged that Trent Reznor and some of his Nine Inch Nails bandmates were to be among the enormous cast of David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks” revival for Showtime — and fans watching tonight’s mind-bending installment finally found out what that entailed. Now we know what that entails.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are in New York City for a two-night stand at the Beacon Theatre, and between those two gigs, managed to slip in a rare late-night TV appearance, performing the haunting song “Rings of Saturn” off the band’s new Skeleton Tree album on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” last night.
