Crowded House frontman Neil Finn is working on his upcoming new solo record Out of Silence in full view of his fans, livestreaming his in-studio performances each Friday this month — culminating, on Aug. 25, with the full recording of the album live on the internet. Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark today released the second official single off the group’s upcoming album The Punishment of Luxury — the title track, which is accompanied by a brand-new animated video that you can watch below. The track follows the release of first single “Isotype” in late May.

The Violent Femmes’ co-headlining tour of the U.S. with Echo & The Bunnymen got underway last week, and while the band was in New York, the trio stopped by “CBS This Morning” for an interview and live session that aired on the morning show’s Saturday edition. Watch all of that right here.

New Order tonight played the fourth of its five planned sets at the Manchester International Festival, performances that have found the band digging deep into its back catalog as it expands its arrangements with the aid of a 12-person synth orchestra.
