We’re not entirely sure what delayed it, but the production has recently announced the film — “The Mojo Manifesto” — will be released in 2020. See the trailer right here.

Last night’s Morrissey concert in San Diego ended the way many of the singer’s shows have: with fans rushing the stage, overcoming security in hopes of a brief moment with the performer. Karl Wallinger’s got big plans for 2019, with a new World Party studio album — the band’s first in 19 years — planned for release along with  reissues of the group’s full catalog on vinyl for the first time throughout the year, beginning with 1986 debut Private Revolution. The new album is expected in the spring.

Thirty years after touring the U.S. in support of World Without End, guitarist/songwriter David Newton of The Mighty Lemon Drops received a VHS tape in the mail. On it: professionally recorded footage from the band’s gig at at Chicago’s Cabaret Metro in May 1988. Check it out right here.
