With its first U.S. tour in 18 years winding down, Public Image Ltd. stopped by ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ tonight for an on-air performance — and this web-only run-through of ‘Public Image.’

Former Talking Heads leader David Byrne turns 58 today, and we mark his birthday with one of his quirkier solo projects: ‘Music for the Knee Plays,’ a 1985 brass-band-and-vocals album Byrne composed for Robert Wilson’s opera ‘the CIVIL warS.’

Fresh off their headlining appearance at last weekend’s Coachella festival, the in-the-flesh version of Damon Albarn’s cartoon act Gorillaz — which currently features a rare joint appearance by The Clash’s Mick Jones and Paul Simonon — played current single ‘Stylo’ on ‘The Colbert Report’ last night.

Devo took to the airwaves last night to perform their new single, ‘Fresh,’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ The track is off the band’s first new album in 20 years, ‘Something for Everybody,’ which is due out June 15 — and is available now on the ‘Song Study’ EP via iTunes.

Returning to American TV for the first time in 30 years, The Specials last night performed their 1979 single ‘A Message to You, Rudy’ on ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ — and a second tune, ‘Little Bitch’, exclusively for the show’s website.
