Reunited Scottish indie-pop faves The Vaselines today announced they’ll release a new album called ‘Sex With An X’ — only their second ever, the follow-up to 1989’s ‘Dum-Dum’ — in September, and are previewing it with a free download of the track ‘I Hate the ’80s.’ Plus, they’ll mount a 10-date tour of the U.K. this fall.

While the tracklist for Elvis Costello’s forthcoming ‘Pomp & Pout: The Universal Years’ features no previously unreleased material, it does nicely span the years between 1988’s ‘Painted From Memory’ and 2008’s ‘Momofuku.’

Industrial mainstays My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult will revisit their late-’80s, early-90s tenure on Chicago’s trailblazing Wax Trax! Records with a new compilation this summer and tours with Psychotica and Lords of Acid.
