Nearly a year after his last U.S. tour fizzled amid cancellations and illness, Morrissey will return to the road this fall for a 16-date American trek in support of the forthcoming album Low in High School. Peter Murphy has enlisted former bandmate David J to play bass in his band during the final three, Bauhaus-focused nights of his expanded 16-night residency in San Francisco next year, a run of shows that had been postponed due to the singer’s vocal problems. See full details here.

When Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark announced their new album The Punishment of Luxury last spring, the group had a handful of U.S. summer dates on the books — but it wasn’t much of a tour. Depeche Mode today announced that the group has been forced to cancel Wednesday night’s scheduled concert at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater in Tampa, Fla., due to the impacts of Hurricane Irma, which wreaked havoc across Florida over the weekend.
