As promised, Morrissey is adding dates to his previously announced summer tour — and not just the four Scandinavian concerts he touted in a recent and somewhat surly open letter to his fans, but he’s now tacked on three additional shows in his native U.K. as well.

The original lineup of Los Angeles roots-punk legends X will — John Doe, Exene Cervenka, Billy Zoom and D.J. Bonebrake — will mount a seven-date tour up and down the California coast this June that the group has dubbed the ‘Boardwalk Beach Party.’

Tears For Fears are hitting the road again this September with a short run of clubs, wineries and casinos in California and Nevada — with the possibility of concerts in Mexico and South America also on the horizon.

Andrew Eldritch will continue The Sisters of Mercy’s 30th anniversary tour with newly announced festival dates this summer and a pair of November concerts in Dublin and London — plus the goth-rock legends’ first-ever performance in Japan.

When not playing bass in Guns N’ Roses or Soul Asylum, former Replacements member Tommy Stinson has found time to whittle away at a new album of his own — and that follow-up to his 2004 solo debut ‘Village Gorilla Head’ is now complete and will be out later this summer.

With their new album ‘Lollipop’ now out, the Meat Puppets have unveiled European tour dates and two rounds of U.S. concerts — including an upcoming stint with Slightly Stoopid — that will keep the band on the road for the rest of the spring.

Dinosaur Jr will embark on a short East Coast tour this June to perform the band’s third album — 1988’s nine-track ‘Bug,’ featuring the trio’s break-out single ‘Freak Scene’ — in its entirety at five concerts.
