Peter Murphy this week announced a late-summer concert at Hollywood’s famed Roxy Theatre, part of a 50-band Sunset Strip Music Festival that will be headlined by Marilyn Manson and celebrate the music of The Doors. Other acts on the bill include Bad Religion, The Offspring and De La Soul.

Dates continue to slip out for The Jesus and Mary Chain’s late-summer return to North America, with concerts in Philadelphia and Madison, Wisc., joining the expanding roster. According to WXPN, JAMC will play Philly’s Union Transfer on Sept. 8, while a Sept. 19 date at Madison’s Majestic Theatre is appearing on multiple websites.
