The highly influential debut album from German synthpop outfit Propaganda — 1985’s ‘A Secret Wish’ — will be reissued yet again later this month, this time appearing in a 25th anniversary 2CD edition featuring six previously unreleased tracks plus the rare 20-minute cassette mix of ‘Duel.’

XTC’s Andy Partridge today announced the band will reissue 1986’s ‘Skylarking’ on double vinyl ‘as it was intended to sound, but never has due to human error.’ No release date has been announced, nor plans for another CD reissue.

The debut album from Julian Cope’s neo-psychedelic band The Teardrop Explodes — 1980’s ‘Kilimanjaro’ — is due to receive an expansive 3CD reissue next month, along with Cope’s 1993 compilation of post-Teardrop recordings entitled ‘Floored Genius 2: Best of the BBC Sessions 1983-1991.’

With the expanded reissue of R.E.M.’s third album, 1985’s ‘Fables of the Reconstruction,’ now just two weeks away, the folks at Capitol/I.R.S. are starting to give fans a taste of some of the 14 previously unreleased demos that will make up the second disc of the set.

The near-mythical reissues of My Bloody Valentine’s two albums, 1988’s ‘Isn’t Anything’ and 1991’s ‘Loveless,’ have been delayed yet again, and are now due out in late November, according to Sony’s U.K. catalog arm.

R.E.M. will mark the 25th anniversary of their third album, ‘Fables of the Reconstruction,’ this summer with the third installment in the band’s ongoing reissue series, a double-disc re-release featuring 14 previously unreleased demos — including one never-before-heard song.

The previously announced reissue of The Dream Syndicate’s long-out-of-print second album, ‘Medicine Show,’ will be released June 15 — and will be fleshed out with the full ‘This Is Not the New Dream Syndicate Album… Live!’ EP.
