Record Rack is a round-up of the week’s new albums, expanded reissues and/or box sets, appearing each Monday on Slicing Up Eyeballs. All releases due out this Friday unless noted. This week’s notable release is a 4LP box set from Pere Ubu collecting albums released between 1995 and 2002.

The long-running Dutch group Clan of Xymox returns this week with ‘Days of Black,’ its first new album in three years, a 12-song collection described by Metropolis Records as “a beautiful blend of goth rock and electronics.” Also, Wire’s ‘Silver/Lead’ gets a U.S. physical release this week.

This week’s releases include new studio albums from U.K. post-punk legends Wire and singer-songwriter Aimee Mann, plus a new 3CD best-of set from Scottish rockers Big Country and a 4CD box set collecting the late-’70s work on Epic Records from punk act The Vibrators.

This week’s new releases include “One More Time With Feeling,” the documentary about the making of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ 2016 album ‘Skeleton Tree,’ plus a new 4CD box set collecting expanded editions of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry’s first four albums, and a brand-new studio album from Men at Work’s Colin Hay.

This week’s new releases include a pair of brand-new studio albums from seminal acts that have reunited in recent years (Modern English and The Feelies), plus the physical CD release of a David Bowie EP that collects the additional tracks that were recorded for ‘Blackstar’ but not included on that album last year.
