Time marches on as we continue our Best of the ’80s Redux series of year-by-year song polls, this time moving on to the year 1983, and giving Slicing Up Eyeballs readers the chance to vote for their 25 favorites as we rank the 100 best songs released that year. We’ll unveil the results of the vote next month.

Today we unveil the results of Round 6 of our Slicing Up Eyeballs artist poll series, a ranking of all 176 songs officially released by goth/post-punk icons Siouxsie and the Banshees over the band’s decades-spanning career, from debut single “Hong Kong Garden” in 1978 to once-unreleased tracks that came out in the 2000s.

Time’s up, pencils down — the votes, at long last, have been tabulated. We’re back with the loooong-awaited third installment in the new Best of the ’80s Redux series, the Slicing Up Eyeballs readers poll that’s now ranked the Top 100 songs of 1982. Today we unveil the results of Round 5 of our Slicing Up Eyeballs readers’ poll series, a ranking of all 157 songs released by electronic-rock pioneers New Order, from their emergence in 1981 from the ashes of Joy Division up through the current post-Peter Hook era.
