Dexys — Kevin Rowland’s relaunched and newly shortened Dexys Midnight Runners — today debuted ‘Nowhere is Home,’ the first track to be released off the band’s forthcoming ‘One Day I’m Going to Soar,; on U.K. radio, and then promptly made the song available as a free download.

Next month, Karl Wallinger will release his first new music under the World Party banner since 2000… and it won’t just be a new CD, but, rather, a mammoth five-disc box set called ‘Arkeology’ featuring 70 previously unreleased tracks, including new songs, demos, live tracks and more.

The debut album from techno project VCMG — aka former Depeche Mode bandmates Vince Clarke and Martin L. Gore, working together again for the first time in 30 years — finally arrives next week, but fans can now stream the 10-track ‘Ssss,’ which premiered in the U.K. today via Mixmag.

Reunited British indie-pop combo The Primitives just announced they’re releasing a new covers album in April, and now they get the cover treatment as Belle and Sebastian give their classic 1988 single ‘Crash’ a leisurely makeover. Check out the new version here, and watch the original video, too.

Steve Strange, frontman of ‘Fade to Grey’ hitmakers Visage and founder of the New Romantic hub The Blitz in London, is gearing up for a busy 2012, with a debut album due next month from electronic dance project Detroit Starzz and plans for a fourth Visage album — that group’s first in 28 years — to be released in May.

Erasure recently began taking orders for a new 2CD, 21-track concert album ‘Tomorrow’s World: Live at the Roundhouse,’ and the group is previewing four of the set’s tracks: “Fill Us With Fire” and “A Whole Lotta Love Run Riot,” both off last year’s ‘Tomorrow’s World’ LP, and the classics “Blue Savannah” and “Chorus.”
