With Echo & The Bunnymen’s 11th studio album Meteorites set for release in Europe one week from today, the band this morning began streaming the record — which Ian McCulloch calls “more edgy than anything I’ve ever done” — in full via both The Guardian in the U.K. and VPRO in the Netherlands.

Daniel Ash has treated fans to the first taste of his forthcoming album Stripped, which will feature re-recorded selections from his catalog with Bauhaus, Love and Rockets and Tones on Tail. And the first track to emerge is Ash’s new electro take on Love and Rockets’ 1989 hit single “So Alive.”

With the release of his 10th solo album Lion now just three weeks away, Peter Murphy is offering up a second track from the forthcoming record: “I Am My Own Name,” an ominous slow-builder that pays off in a big way. You can stream the full track via the music video posted here.

Earlier this month, Bob Mould treated fans to the first taste of his upcoming 11th solo album Beauty & Ruin, issuing a “pure adrenalin shot” called “Hey Mr. Grey.” That wasn’t the first official single off the upcoming 35-minute record, though. The single, “I Don’t Know You Anymore,” dropped this week.

Due out next week, the Pixies’ first new album in 23 years isn’t exactly new, given that its 12 tracks each have been released via a series of three EPs over the past seven months. Nevertheless, the band today premiered Indie Cindy via streams at NPR and the U.K.’s Guardian newspaper.

Echo & The Bunnymen will embark on a 14-date North American tour this August in support of their forthcoming album Meteorites, and this week debuted not just one but two new tracks off the record, including the official U.S. single “Holy Moses.” Meteorites is due out May 26 in the U.K. and June 3 in the U.S.
