Mike Peters continues this year’s 30th anniversary celebration of The Alarm with a special solo-acoustic tour that hits the U.S. for just three dates beginning this weekend, followed by a run of 20 concerts in the U.K. later this fall.

With the band’s 35th anniversary tour still two months away, The Damned isn’t wasting time boning up on their 1980 release ‘The Black Album,’ which the goth-punk legends will perform each night of the tour. In this video, Captain Sensible talks about making the album and the upcoming tour.

The mammoth 4CD/1DVD 20th anniversary reissue of Nirvana’s game-changing ‘Nevermind’ will include producer Butch Vig’s original, rejected mix of the album, plus the band’s initial Smart Studios demos and a full 1991 Halloween concert on both CD and DVD.

Mike Peters is marking the 30th anniversary of The Alarm with ‘The Sound and The Fury,’ a 12-track collection of “brand-new recordings of songs that have been written at various stages throughout (his) songwriting history” that will come with a 90-minute making-of documentary.
