As a ‘thank you’ to fans who’ve put up with the band’s recent spate of tour cancellations, Duran Duran over the weekend posted a free download of its nine-song concert for contest winners at RDS Radio in Rome, Italy, on May 12.

Martin Gore and Vince Clarke are finished recording a new all-instrumental dance record and must now mix the project — but Gore warns in a new interview with Billboard.com that ‘even though it probably will be finished quite soon, it might not see the light of day for awhile.’

Tonight’s installment of ‘Dark Wave’ on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave will feature guest host Peter Murphy of Bauhaus. The show airs 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. EDT on the satellite radio network.
