New Order performed its first U.S. concert in seven years Friday night at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival — but that won’t be the band’s only American appearance this year. The band says: ‘It’s great to back in the U.S., and we will be back for more shows later in the year when we have fulfilled our other live commitments around the world.’

Morrissey today announced a May concert in San Diego following his two Hawaiian appearances, along with delivering his customary tour-ending write-up in which he calls his just-completed trip to South America ‘the best tour of my life,’ and proceeds to rank the shows (Bogota, Colombia, claimed the No. 1 spot).
The complete studio output of Bob Mould’s acclaimed post-Hüsker Dü trio Sugar — 1992’s landmark ‘Copper Blue,’ the 1993 companion EP ‘Beaster’ and 1994 sophomore album ‘File Under: Easy Listening’ — will be reissued in the U.K. later this spring in expanded multi-disc CD/DVD editions.
Electronic project Soulsavers returns in May with a new album of songs featuring the vocal talents of Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan, and today we bring you the first single, ‘Longest Day,’ which is now streaming here. The full album, The Light the Dead See, is out May 22 via Mute Records.
