The reunion of 2 Tone-era ska giants The Specials rolls into 2013 as the band this week announced a 10-date spring tour of the U.K. and even hinted it would fulfill its promise to return to America, tweeting this morning that “The Specials are discussing a possible two part TOUR OF THE USA in March and late August 2013.”
As promised, former The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr will embark on a spring U.K. tour following the release of his new solo album, ‘The Messenger,’ with 10 dates announced this week in March, culminating with a show in his hometown of Manchester. Also, check out new song “The Right Thing Right.”
A day after announcing an Australian tour and debuting their new single, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are back with even more good news for fans: The band today unveiled a 12-date North American tour that will take place next March and April in support of the group’s 15th studio album, ‘Push the Sky Away.’
Next September, two years after reuniting to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary, The Mission will tour North America for the first time in 11 years, playing a short run of 10 concerts set to take place mostly on the East and West coasts of the United States, with a lone Canadian date thrown in, the band announced today.
