This week’s new releases include just one notable title: a new 4CD/1DVD box set from The Lords of the New Church that includes a disc of 16 studio rarities recorded in 1987 and 1988 plus, on three subsequent CDs, live concerts recorded in 1982, 1983 and 1986. The fifth disc is live DVD from 1988.
Tonight’s edition of “Dark Wave” — the Sunday night “darker side of alternative” show on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave — featured Cocteau Twins, Death Cult, Camouflage, Killing Joke, Lords of the New Church, The Cure, Lowlife, Shriekback, The March Violets, Skeletal Family, The Jesus and Mary Chain and more.

The Replacements — namely Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson — this evening teased Songs For Slim, their much-anticipated reunion project, announced last year as four-song, ultra-limited, vinyl-only covers EP that was to be auctioned off to raise money to help pay for the medical expenses of former bandmate Slim Dunlap.
For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind, we flash back to 1992 for a walk through Tijuana, Mexico, with John Lydon and host Dave Kendall. This appears to actually be an MTV news piece, likely repackaged from segments produced for a July 1992 episode of “120 Minutes” that featured the Public Image Ltd. frontman as co-host.
Morrissey will kick off his rescheduled U.S. tour next week with a live performance on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” stopping by the talk show on Tuesday, according to CBS, before opening the two-month, coast-to-coast trek the following night in Long Island, New York.
Genre-straddling hard rockers Living Colour will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their hit debut album Vivid with a new reissue and a tour centered around the 1988 album, with initial European dates in the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany already announced for mid-March.
