U.K. imprint Cooking Vinyl today announced it has signed Alison Moyet to a worldwide deal with plans to release the former Yazoo singer’s eighth studio album this May, an electronic-based collection that signer describes both as “prog-pop” and “born of reconstructed improvisation.”

The Godfathers have debuted “I Can’t Sleep Tonight,” the first official single from their long-in-the-works Jukebox Fury, the reunited rockers’ first new album in 18 years, and you can check out the track right here. The song is now the fourth track the band has debuted online since reunited in 2008.

After raising more than $100,000 through an auction of limited-edition, autographed 10-inches, The Replacements will release their Songs for Slim benefit/reunion EP to the masses beginning March 5, when the 5-song set will be sold digitally to be followed on April 16 by a commercial 12-inch pressing.
