Squeeze this week announced that bandleaders Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford are busy finishing up work on a new studio album with a new lineup of the long-running group, which will head out on a just-revealed 13-date tour of the Eastern U.S. later this fall. See full dates right here.

Peter Dachert, better known as Peter Principle, the bassist for the San Francisco-born, Brussels-based experimental post-punk act Tuxedomoon, died earlier this week while the group was working on new music and preparing to tour Europe, the band announced on its site.
