Awesome set last night. Those Industrial blocks were blistering. And that had to be one of the all time great shoegaze blocks, wow. Thanks for playing Swervedriver, that track rips. New The The is really good, pumped for the new album and seeing them live in November. I think you closed the show with quite possibly Mr. Cave’s all time best song.
Those Creation bands in the shoegaze block got me thinking about a very underrated Creation label mate. How about “Destroy the Heart” by House of Love for a future show?

Excellent choice of “Polar Bear” by Ride. Perhaps the best example of how the boys from Oxford used drums as a lead instrument. Loz is a genius. It’s a bit of a shame that he’s not allowed to fly (get dust on his hands from the sky) in more recent Ride efforts.

I started listening to you two years ago when Richard Blade mentioned Dark Waves and I knew this is the show where I need to be.
