The Cure announces headlining concerts, festival appearances in 7 South American countries

The Cure

As The Cure nears the end of its rapturously received North American tour, it’s finally laid out the rest of its 2023 touring plans: namely a long-promised run of seven concerts in South America, a mixture of headlining shows and festival appearances.

After the band’s current leg ends July 1 in Miami, it’s got two more North American festival dates on the books — Riot Fest in Chicago and Corona Capital 2023 in Mexico City — before the just-announced South American dates in late November and early December.

Those shows include standalone concerts in Lima, Peru; Montevideo, Uruguay; and Santiago, Chile — as well as headlining appearances at Primavera Sound festivals in Buenos Aires, Argentina; São Paulo, Brazil; Asunción, Paraguay; and Bogotá, Colombia.
