The New Pornographers at Sirius XM
Canadian alt-rock collective The New Pornographers are out promoting their brand-new album Continue As a Guest and recently stopped by the studios of Sirius XM satellite radio to perform a set for “SiriusXMU Sessions” — and, as is customary for that program, included a cover song.
The New Pornographers — for the purposes of this in-studio set, bandleader Carl Newman, keyboardist/vocalist Kathryn Calder and drummer Joe Seiders — performed “This Is How It Feels,” the 1990 single and U.K. chart breakthrough from Madchester act Inspiral Carpets.
The full set will air at a future date on SiriusXMU.
In the meantime, check out that cover below, along with the Inspirals’ original video.
