Hi Matt. How about NIN “Wish”? The first time I saw them donut live was at an album launch surprise show in SF at a club. It was INSANE! During WISH I was in the pit and evidently I broke Kennedy’s arm (annoying MTV VJ..). I didn’t do it on purpose but that’s how nuts the audience was in the pit! The song reminds me of that incident every time.
She even mentioned it on air as “some idiot broke my arm at a NIN show last week…”

It was nice to hear new Depeche Mode in the mix. I don’t know if this is popular opinion but I’m really enjoying Memento Mori. And you ended the show with three of my all time faves! Thank you for another gem of a show.
I missed it last night, I had a really busy weekend and I crapped out early, but it looks like a great set list and I’ll definitely catch it on demand. Closing out with sidewalking must’ve been great.

FRANK DE WULF… This guy. Can’t think of another artist who gets bestowed with as much respect from fellow artists. Bands are QUICK to point out his influence and relevance. “It all started with him,” they will say.
“The Tape” Franf De Wulf- absolute classic.(that’s Belgium, ya know)
“Dominator” Human Resource (Frank De Wulf #1 Mix)- what a monumental dance track remixed by a master!

that Dominator remix is nice. I’m much more familiar w/the original and joey beltram mixes, i dig the restrained “MBM-ishness” he brings to it
a “Darkrave” block (or whole show!) would be fun, at least for this old industrial fan and raver. Tracks like No Name No Slogan and Psyche Out were my gateway drug from the former into the latter. Some songs that Dominator brought up for me that might fit – or at least inspire a fun youtube-supported walk down memory lane…

Phuture – We Are Phuture – no, this is peak Acid.
Sungods – Ascension (the Moon) – an all time fave, slow and ravey and feels like dawn breaking

Urban Shakedown – Some Justice – proto-jungle breaks madness, with the deepest bass roll.

“WANNA KISS MYSELF!!”…Yeah the Dominator #1 Mix is where it’s at. Not so aggressive, but when the hoovers do finally kick in they let you know what’s up. Good introduction to hardcore techno for those not so inclined…I’ll take A Guy Called Gerald from your list thank ya very much…
Colm III, “Take Me High” is a fantastic song. In fact, it was my very first request on this show, almost five years ago to the day.
What a great show last night! The Damned, Japan, Love & Rockets, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie, the Church – I could go on and on about all the tracks I enjoyed. Thanks for all that you do, Matt! This show is always a highlight of my weekend.

I was incredibly bummed to miss the DM show on Saturday after testing positive for covid so it was especially nice to hear some more from Memento Mori. I’m liking what I’ve heard thus far although I’ve yet to hear the entire album. I hope there’s some saxophone on the album, haha.
