Love and Rockets
Fans have been clamoring for more Love and Rockets reunion dates, and the trio is obliging to a degree by adding another show to their short run of concerts in the western U.S. this May — but they’re not exactly expanding the tour’s footprint.
The band — Daniel Ash, David J and Kevin Haskins — today announced a second show at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon, after the first night sold out. A presale for the May 27 concert begins at 10 a.m. Pacific on Thursday, March 23 — password TRUEWEST — and the general on-sale follows at 10 a.m. Pacific on Friday, March 24. Tickets will be available at truwestpresents.com.
Love and Rockets will now follow its appearance at Cruel World in the Los Angeles area with five more concerts, set for Portland; Oakland, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Seattle, Washington. See full dates below. It’s not known if any more shows are planned.
The band last performed live in 2008 with a couple warmup shows and a trio of festival slots, including at Coachella and Lollapalooza. The trio’s last album was 1998’s Lift, and its last tour followed that in 1999.
