Chicago’s industrial-themed Cold Waves festival returns for a ninth installment this September with a lineup topped by Front 242, Stabbing Westward, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult and The Young Gods, plus Wax Trax! Records mainstays Paul Barker and Chris Connelly.
This year’s festival, Cold Waves IX, is set for Sept. 18, 19 and 20 at Metro/Smart Bar in Chicago. Other acts on the bill: She Past Away, The KBV, Broken Note, Actors, Ash Code, Fee Lion and more. Plus, Barker’s alter-ego Hermes Pan is also on the bill, meaning two different sets from the former Ministry bassist.
