The five-song On the Road: Live 92 EP from Mick Jones’ post-Clash outfit Big Audio Dynamite II — released on CD in the U.S. and Japan back in 1992, and more recently via digital platforms — will receive its first-ever vinyl release next month for Record Store Day.
The vinyl EP — which includes singles “Rush” and “Contact” — will be released by Columbia Records in a limited edition of 2,500. The first track was recorded at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on Oct. 5, 1991, while the rest of the material was recorded at the Ritz in New York City on April 24, 1992.
The 11th annual Record Store Day falls on April 21 this year; visit the U.S. Record Store Day and U.K. Record Store Day websites for full lists of releases and participating indie retailers.
