Industrial-metal giants Ministry this week announced they’ll release AmeriKKKant, their 14th studio album, in March, then hit the road for a 26-date North American tour to promote the record — which is preceded by first single “Antifa,” the music video for which you can watch below.
Al Jourgensen and Co. launched a PledgeMusic campaign for the album earlier this year. Originally due this fall, it’s now set to be released March 9 and is available for pre-order in copious formats.
The new album will be Ministry’s first since 2013’s From Beer to Eternity, and third since Jourgensen reactivated the band at the beginning of this decade after a few years off. The nine-song album will feature guests such as DJ Swamp (Beck), Burton C. Bell (Fear Factory) and Arabian Prince (NWA).
The tour, supported by Chelsea Wolfe, opens March 22 in Anaheim, Calif., and runs through an appearance at the Levitation Festival in Austin, Texas, on April 28.

Those are the worst song titles ever. How high was Al when he came up with Warga and thought it was clever? Couldn’t they just do a “With Sympathy” tour?
Dude, you’re missing the bigger picture. Ministry is now part of the resistance! Totally awesome song titles too! My favorite? AmeriKKKant. Get it? Ameri-KKK-ant. Did you notice how they spelled it? KKK, right there, hiding in plain sight. So effing brilliant. Here’s another idea for a an album title, “Glomming on for Relevancy.”
With Sympathy tour, yes.
“With Sympathy” tour, yes!
Not featuring new versions of songs.
Al just might be surprised how successful a WS set would go with the fanbase.
…but Wargasm was already an L7 song and 45 hasn’t even started any yet! Whatever, it’s another boring latter day butt metal Ministry album, zzz…
All right, I’ll be the first to reference Twitch. Anything after that album is of no interest to me.
