Always a good show when I hear Lucifer Sam, my favorite L & R song. Some suggestions for next week :
Japan – Halloween
Skinny Puppy – Worlock
Alien Sex Fiend – Haunted House
The Cult – The Witch
Jazz Butcher – Zombie Love
Awesome show last nite! Hope you can dig up “Nowadays” by this Canadian post-punk band called Images In Vogue for nxt Sun’s Dark Wave. I first heard the song in an episode of the iconic ’80s Canadian teen series “Degrassi Jr. High.”
Yeah, better hurry up to play some more Canadian stuff before Trump asks for duties
Let us not forget that Cevin Key, he of Skinny Puppy fame (and Teargarden, Download, Dubcon…) was an early drummer for Images in Vogue.
That’s so cool! Really explains the influence in their music!
It’s one of my favorite “6 degrees” facts. But I took a poke around iTunes and did not see the song you mention. I’ll keep looking. and Degrassi? Whoah! Blast from the past there!
Love his Dubcon (Martian Dub Beacon !) and Download material.
It’s great stuff, isn’t it? Plateau is another excellent Cevin Key project worth checking out. More like Dubcon than Download.
Alright, good to know. I’ll have to check out Plateau. Thanks !
Excellent! I hope and trust you won’t be disappointed!
OK, Plateau is pretty damn good ! Listening to Kushbush/Music for Grass Bars as we speak. The production is top-notch. Thanks for the tip !
Cevin Key is legit. Glad you’re enjoying it!
How about some Frank The Baptist next week? Falling Stars?
How about a Scientists song for next week?
How about The Cure’s “A Forest?”
Great playlist last night….

Hi Matt
How about “Bury My Heart” by the Waterboys? Many thanks. Bob
May I put in a request for Nemesis by Shriekback? Forgive me if it’s been done to death already.
