The Breeders, who’ve been in the studio recording a follow-up to 2008’s Mountain Battles, will head out on the road this fall, playing nine dates in Europe in October followed by 10 more dates in the U.S., including a slot opening for the Arcade Fire in St. Paul, Minn.
The Last Splash-era lineup — Kim and Kelley Deal, Jim Macpherson and Josephine Wiggs — will open the tour Oct. 15 in Glasgow, playing through Oct. 27 in Paris, then resuming Oct. 29 in St. Paul with Arcade Fire, before playing shows on largely on the two coasts of the U.S. from Nov. 1 through Nov. 13.
