Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins have expanded their maiden U.S. tour as Poptone — which will perform a Tones on Tail-heavy set, along with music by Bauhaus and Love and Rockets — by adding new summer concerts in Utah, Colorado, Missouri, Minnesota and Illinois.
Poptone will debut with a pair of studio performances later this month in Los Angeles, then embark on its tour beginning May 11 in Tempe, Ariz. The band will play largely West Coast dates into early June, take a break, then resume with the new concerts on June 21 in Salt Lake City.
The new shows also include stops in Boulder, Colo., and Denver, plus Kansas City, Minneapolis and Chicago.
More dates are expected.
As Poptone, Ash and Haskins will be joined by Haskins’ daughter Diva Dompe, formerly of Blackblack.

Saw your Tones show at the Aladdin in Portland, Or. years ago. Met Daniel outback after the show. What a great show and venue to see them in.
