Depeche Mode unveils 28-date fall North American leg of Global Spirit Tour

Depeche Mode today announced the full North American leg of its upcoming Global Spirit Tour, a 28-date trek through the U.S. and Canada that put the synthpop vets in arenas and amphitheaters coast to coast from late August through late October.

The tour, in support of the band’s upcoming 14th studio album, Spirit,  opens Aug. 23 in Salt Lake City and wraps up Oct. 27 in Edmonton, Canada. To date, the only cities getting multiple shows are New York and Los Angeles, with two apiece.

Pre-sales for the North American shows start March 6, and, as the band announced last week, fans are invited to register for the presale.depechemode.com, and then can help improve their place in line for the pre-sale by doing their part to promote the album release and tour.

Depeche Mode also is conducing pre-sales at 10 a.m. March 7 for Citi cardmembers and A&T customers. Follow those links for details.  American Express cardmembers will get access to a pre-sale for the Hollywood Bowl dates at that same time, too.

Check out full dates below, plus a rehearsal video the band shared today:

  1. So excited DM is coming to my area….love them live!! Been a fan since the 80’s….so I am OLD

  2. DM is NOT coming to Atlanta on this tour?! FEH!!

    • WTH???? Florida gets 2 concerts and they stop in Nashville, but no Atlanta???? That sucks.

    • I was really hoping that they’d have a show in Atlanta too!!! I’m in South Carolina and none of the dates are close by.

      • My guess is they will play the midtown music festival in Atl on sept 17th. The lineup has not been announced yet so that is likely why they did not announce the date with the others. This is pure speculation, of course, but I can’t see them skipping this market.

  3. Another DM tour, where you are guaranteed to hear ‘Walking in My Shoes’ in the 3rd or 4th spot (where it’s been for 24 years) and all the same ‘greatest hits’ they play every tour, over and over again, with nothing pre-1986 (well maybe ‘Somebody’ or ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’, which they play constantly), and certainly no bsides, rare album tracks, or something really outside the box…

Maybe Martin will break out something rare ‘acoustic’, but that’s always a gamble.

A real shame these guys can’t step outside the box for a tour.

  4. I signed up for the presale line. I purchased the new CD set. It did not move me up in the presale line what so ever. Not sure if this was an error or if this was a scam.

  5. Seriously, no Philadelphia dates!!!??? EXTREMELY disappointed Depeche Mode!!!!

  6. These tickets are getting so expensive and becoming such a struggle to obtain. Facebook promo this, credit card presale that. This stuff even legal? From A to B these arena concert experiences are a stress fest for me. I guess I’m getting too old to bother.

Saw the Delta show at an outside venue, that was cool. Smaller vibe and way cheaper tickets.

I’ll prob just watch the stream on Periscope at my desk since everyone and their mother will be standing there filming it :)

  7. Jonathan Fitzpatrick

    Im in London
So lucky they are the greatest live so awaiting the new album..

    Mr Fritz

  8. Why No Pittsburgh, Pa.??? Very disappointed I have been a fan of theirs since the 80’s & 90’s…they performed here in the 90’s & early 2000’s….why not again???
