Playlist: Sirius XM’s ‘Dark Wave’ — hosted by Slicing Up Eyeballs (8/18/13)

Tonight’s edition of “Dark Wave” — the Sunday night celebration of the “darker side of classic alternative” on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave — featured music by Tubeway Army, The Sound, Joy Division, Laibach, The Cramps, Nitzer Ebb, The Essence, Japan, Love and Rockets, Skeletal Family, The The, Acid Horse and much, much more.

“Dark Wave,” hosted by Slicing Up Eyeballs founder/editor Matt Sebastian, airs every Sunday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave (Channel 33). The most recent two episodes also are available as part of Sirius XM’s new On Demand service for online subscribers.

  2. Cheers! Dark Wave (the Slicing Up Eyeballs version) is the only thing 1st Wave is good for. I’m a satellite subscriber way back to the early days of XM, and Dark Wave harkens back to the glory days of Fred. Thanks for some great listening.

  3. Great SHOW! I always monitor other channels while I’m listening, I noticed the Darkwave banner on the schroll, I switched over and am a listener now.
    MORE, MORE, Im reading all your info here as well.
    cant ever get enough of the darkest era in music history.
