Great clip and great band. Book of Days is a personal favorite of mine and a true return to form after their one and only speed bump album Midnight to Midnight. Just saw them a year ago and they put on an awesome show.
It’s pretty sad when I still consider “Book of Days” one of the new Furs albums.
Think I saw them on most every album tour except M2M, and of course recently – Richard still has the pipes.
‘Book of Days’ was underrated, as well as their fantastic swan song ‘World Outside’…take a re-listen, it’s such a great album.
Yep, Book of Days and World Outside are very under rated. Saw the Furs Monday night, and as usual, they put on one hell of a show. Agreed, Richard still has the pipes.
Yes, Book of Days is my favorite record of theirs. It is a shame that it is obscure. After the previous two records, they got it together and made their strongest album. It is dark, psychedelic, mysterious and emotionally poignant. David M. Allen (The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy, The Chameleons) produces it as well. Stunning.
