Simple Minds‘ first North American tour in more than a decade will feature just seven dates this October, with new concerts announced today in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston, Montreal and Toronto joining previously revealed shows in New York City and Red Bank, N.J.
The band announced today that it will bring its “Greatest Hits+” show to North America for those limited dates; fans are encouraged to register at SimpleMinds.com for pre-sale opportunities.
The North American concerts will be Simple Minds’ first since a 16-date trek in the summer of 2002 in support of that year’s Cry album. The band just wrapped an extensive U.K. tour, and also is scheduled to play a U.K. arena run this November with support from Ultravox.
