John Lydon’s resurrected Public Image Ltd. went Down Under last month for a tour of Australia in support of last year’s comeback album This Is PiL, and the folks at Moshcam have been so kind as to post a full two-hour show filmed April 11 in Sydney. Setlist is okay, real heavy on certain periods. I actually like the ‘Happy?’ album, too bad nothing is being played off it… However, songs like ‘Albatross’, “Four Enclosed Walls”, “Death Disco” etc are cool to see back in the setlists.
They never played those songs on the 1987 – 1992 tour period at their popularity height.
Agreed. Would love to see “Seattle” or “Fat Chance Hotel” eventually make it into the set.
Great set and brilliant performance! i really love the groove/vibe to This Is PiL … cant wait to see this line up for the 4th time here in Ireland in June!!
