For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind, we once again return to 1988 for an appearance by Sinead O’Connor, who spends part of this episode of “120 Minutes” hanging out and chatting with ever-odd host Kevin Seal. The appearance comes after the release of her single “Mandinka,” and includes typically earnest statements from O’Connor, such as this intro: “Hi, I’m Sinead O’Connor and you’re watching ‘120 Minutes’ on MTV. And if you’ve got 36 million pounds, send it to the Sandinistas because they need it more than you do.”
