We briefly were able to post the video for “A Baby Got Back On Its Feet” — the first single and lead-off track from The House of Love’s sixth album She Paints Words in Red — last month before it was removed from YouTube, but we finally can offer up the song in full now that it’s been premiered as Q magazine’s Track of the Day. Check it out below.
The single will be released as a download EP on March 18 with two extra tracks (“Plans” and an alternate version of album cut “P.K.L.,” which itself is a reworking of former B-side “Purple Killer Rose”), with a Record Store Day 7-inch following on April 20 in the U.K. The album itself, the band’s second since reuniting, is due out March 25 in the U.K. on Cherry Red Records.
