The first glimpse — and unfortunately, it really was just a glimpse — of John Lydon’s reformed Public Image Ltd. emerged last night when the on-again, off-again Sex Pistol appeared on BBC2’s “The Culture Show” for a lengthy interview segment that included (in the second video shown here) a short bit of the band rehearsing the PiL classic “Rise.” Now, the band’s official site says the BBC filmed full takes of “Rise” and “Memories,” but apparently they decided not to use all the footage. Still, it’s a good interview and worth watching.
