Cherry Red Records today offered up a third previously unreleased demo off its upcoming 3CD reissue of the self-titled 1988 debut from The House of Love — this time frontman Guy Chadwick‘s original demo of “Shine On,” the band’s first single.
The expanded reissue of The House of Love arrives Nov. 26 in the U.K., and features 40 bonus tracks, including all 10 songs compiled on the so-called “German Album” and a full 19 previously unreleased tracks off an original demo cassette (see full tracklist).

I just got the 3 CD set come in the mail and I am just floored by it.I bought it mainly because it contained 3 versions of “Christine” but I have found that it’s filled with gems that I haven’t heard before. This is a must have set for House of Love fans.Anyone who liked Echo and The Bunnymen,Hothouse Flowers,The Cure etc. would certainly love this set too.Guy Chadwick is one of the best tunesmith/lyricists of our time,he’s simply brilliant.
